Windsor Morris Price, Sr., 95, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025. A true gentleman, Windsor was known for his kindness, generosity, and steady presence. His quick wit and love of a clever (or not) pun brought laughter and warmth to all who knew him. He had a deep appreciation for music, architecture, and ships, and found his greatest peace on the St. Lawrence River, where he made his home. A lover of life’s simple pleasures, he enjoyed a well-made Manhattan, a scoop of ice cream, and time spent with family and friends.
Born in Syracuse on April 5, 1930, the son of Mildred Price Saks and J. Reese Price, Windsor attended the Baldwinsville Schools, graduated from Deerfield Academy, and completed his education at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
After college, he joined his family’s business, Morris Pumps of Baldwinsville, New York, where he served in various executive roles until his retirement.
He was a devoted member of the Episcopal Church, serving for many years on the vestry and singing in the choir at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, New York, and served on the vestry at the Church of St. Lawrence in Alexandria Bay.
An ardent supporter of community and the arts, Windsor served for many years on the boards of the Skaneateles Library and the Densmore Church Performing Arts Center on Wellesley Island. Windsor volunteered for years at SAVES, the Skaneateles Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Service, offering his time and care to others in need. He volunteered for numerous other charitable organizations throughout his life, contributing quietly but meaningfully.
Windsor served his country during the Korean Conflict, never seeking recognition but honored that time with quiet dignity.
In time, Windsor’s life came to center around the place he loved most — the St. Lawrence River. After a lifetime of summers in Fineview, Papple-Hamptonville, and Thousand Island Park, Windsor and Kay made it their year-round home in retirement. He remained an active and cherished member of the community, serving on the Thousand Island Park Board of Directors.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Selner Price; his daughter, Elizabeth Price-Kellogg (Jeremy); and his son, Windsor Price, Jr. (Eileen). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Islen Craig (Trey), Glenna Croy (Braden), Taylor Price-Kellogg (Kalie), Gaelyn Ames (Jackson), and Blake Price-Kellogg; as well as great-grandchildren Seton Craig, Cecelia Craig, Verity Croy, Elora Croy, Bellamy Croy, Wellesley Ames, and Fendall Ames.
He is also survived by Windsor’s sister's (Elizabeth Meyer) daughter, Mena Hansinger (Rick), and son, John Meyers (Jane); and by Windsor’s cousin and lifelong friend, Hugh Fulmer.
