William Doyle II Obituary

   William P. Doyle II, 75, passed away at his home in Watertown Wednesday evening, September 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

   Bill was born in Potsdam March 4, 1950, son of William P. and Mary (Keegan) Doyle. He was a graduate of Immaculate Heart Central School and had attended JCC. On August 2, 1975 he married Debra A. Platko in Saginaw, MI.

   Bill served in the Army Reserves. He retired from WWTI TV 50 as a sales executive. He was a life member of Elks Lodge 496, was a member of Morning Rotary, and for over 30 years, a member of the Watertown Golf Club. Bill enjoyed golfing and bowling and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys.

   Along with his wife, Deb, Bill is survived by his four children, Amy J. (Patrick) Thompson, Woodside, Kristin F. (Scott) Edmondson, Concord, MA, William P. (Amanda) Doyle III, Massena, and Shannon M. DeMarco, Watertown; six grandchildren, Skylar, Aidan, Emily, Madelaine, Landon, and Samuel; two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Brynlee; five sisters; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Tim Doyle.

   As per his wishes, he is donating his body for science. There will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown and online condolences may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill's name may be made to SPCA of Jefferson County, 25056 Water St., Watertown, NY 13601.
