Sandra D. (Dollinger) Hunneyman

   Sandra D. Hunneyman, 83, formerly of Clayton, New York passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Kingsway Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Schenectady, New York where she had resided for two years.   Sandra was born in Utica, New York on April 2, 1943, daughter of Howard and Viola (Baltz) Dollinger. She was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and Fredonia State University. She was married to Jack Clark and had two daughters.  Jack passed away in 1977.  She married Ralph Hunneyman in 1981 and they spent the next 20 years raising their daughters together.  Ralph passed away in 1998. 

   She was an elementary school teacher for 33 years, beginning her career in Westmoreland, New York and Redwood, New York, and lastly at Guardino Elementary School in Clayton, New York. She was a former communicant of St. Mary's Church, Clayton. She enjoyed all her daughter’s  activities, spending time at the cottage in Fishers Landing, New York, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

   Sandra is survived by her two daughters, Melanie (Brian) Osterhout, Northville, New York and their two children, Sydney and Tyler Osterhout and Mariah (Joseph Izzo) Clark, Ballston Spa, New York; brother Scott Dollinger, Watertown, New York; sister Nancy Storino, Watertown, New York; Niece Christine Storino, Watertown, New York; and great niece Greta Rowell and her father Stephen Rowell.  She is also predeceased by her niece Kathryn “Katie” (Storino) Rowell Watertown, New York.

   A private graveside service will be held at a time convenient for the family, as the time was changed.
