Ruby K. Butcher Fisher, 93, formerly of Riverside Dr., Clayton, passed away Christmas Day at Samaritan Keep Home, where she had resided since 2008.
Ruby was born in Hodgens, OK, daughter of Dr. John A. and Blanche Loveland Kennedy. She graduated high school in OK and attended college in OH.
She married Harry Butcher in 1942. With Harry she co-owned and operated both Ruby's Snack Bar and Bluff Island Lodge, both in Clayton. Harry died in 1955. She then married Parke Fisher in 1957. After their marriage the couple lived in Akron, OH. He retired in 1969 and the couple wintered in Crescent City, FL and summered in Clayton. Parke died in 1989.
She is survived by a step daughter and her husband, Sally and Charles Treat, Horseheads and their three children.
