Rene’ E. Warneck, 67, Three Mile Bay passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday morning, August 28, 2024.
Rene’ was born in Gouverneur May 24, 1957, daughter of Ralph and Patricia (Macklin) Little. She attended Watertown High School, before her family moved to Potsdam where she graduated from Potsdam High School. Rene’ received her associate’s degree from JCC. On June 24,1978 she married Douglas A. Warneck.
Rene’ was a Human Resources Manager for B. W. Elliott Manufacturing in Binghamton, and later for Neenah Paper Mill in Brownville. The couple lived in Syracuse for a few years before settling in Vestal, NY where they resided until their retirements. They relocated to Three Mile Bay in 2014.
Rene’ was an award-winning quilter, avid gardener, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. Her quilting work will be treasured family heirlooms for many years.
Along with her husband, Doug, Rene’ is survived by her three sons and their wives, Peter and Libby of Vestal, James and Aubrey of Vestal, and Timothy and Liz of Chenango Forks; six grandchildren, Peter, Parker, Chloe, Cole, Fiona, and Norah; her stepmother Janice Little, Zephyrhills, FL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Gene Little and sister Carolyn Yoder.
As per her wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown and online condolences to Rene's family may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com.
