Rebecca P. Marlowe, 83, Watertown and formerly of Massena passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Samaritan Keep Home.
   Rebecca was born in Ogdensburg March 30, 1943, daughter of Royal and Regina (Brothers) Marlowe. She was a graduate of Massena High School, Potsdam State (Social Studies), and Mater Dei College and received her Masters degree from St. Bonaventure University.
   She was a teacher throughout the Diocese of Ogdensburg, including St. Joseph's School in both Dannemora and Malone and Sacred Heart School, Watertown. Rebecca then was a teacher and school principal at Holy Name School, Ausable and retired as school principal at St. Bernard's School, Saranac Lake after 18 years of service to them.
   Rebecca was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. She was a former Sisters of St. Joseph (26 years) and was presently a Sisters of St. Joseph associate. She loved her pets, especially her dog Rudy, She enjoyed cooking, Bingo. and socializing with all, but especially her former students.
   Rebecca is survived by her partner, Catherine A. Russell, Watertown; brother, William (Susan) Marlowe, Knightdale, NC; three sisters, Barbara (Frame) Chamberlain, Ellisburg, Jane (Glen) Nicols, Massena, and Gina Marlowe, Massena; and dear friends, John A. Russell, Anne Cooney, and Ruth Rodrick; and several nieces and nephews and their families, and cousins.
   A calling hour will be held at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church on Monday, May 18, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm with the funeral mass celebrated at the church at 2:00 pm.
