Maurice J. Patenaude

   Maurice J. Patenaude, 84, passed away at his home in Watertown March 17, 2025, with his loving family and Hospice of Jefferson County at his side.

   Maurice was born in Watertown December 31, 1940, son of Joseph A. and Ruth I. (Fulton) Patenaude and he was a graduate of Watertown High School. On July 9, 1960 he married Audrey J. Sloan at the Church of the Redeemer, Watertown.

   He retired from State Street Body Works in 2000 at its shop foreman, serving the business for 42 years. He enjoyed antique cars and especially time spent with his family.

   Along with his wife, Audrey, Maurice is survived by his son and his wife, Kevin J. and Lisa M. Patenaude, Watertown; three grandchildren and their spouses, Logan and Brianne Patenaude, N. Syracuse, Erin and Nathan Morford, Baldwinsville, and Colleen and Nicholas Birchenough, Chaumont; two great grandchildren, Landon and Shea Patenaude; brother, Gerald "Pete" Patenaude, Watertown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Maurice was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Carl, Frederick, and Phillip Patenaude; and sister Betty Foy.

   As per his wishes there will be no services.
