Mary Lou Twiss, 89, Watertown passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Samaritan Keep Home.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, March 29, from 5:30 - 6:30PM at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown followed by the funeral service at the funeral home at 7:00PM with Rev. Steven Murray, pastor of Holy Family Church, presiding. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery.
Miss Twiss was born in Watertown on March 4, 1927, daughter of Francis J. and Sybil R. O'Reilley Twiss. She was a 1944 graduate of Watertown High School. She worked for the NY Telephone Co. for 33 1/2 years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of a bird club. Mary Lou loved Pomeranians and watching dog shows. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters to Cape Cod.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Francis J. Twiss, Jr., November 2007, and Lt. Col. (Ret.) William F. Twiss, March 2, 1995, and her two sisters, Elizabeth R. "Betty' Twiss, March 6, 2010, and Joan C. Twiss, October 24, 2012.
