Linda M. (Brousseau) Gushlaw

   Linda M. Gushlaw, 79, passed away at her home on County Route-4, in the Town Of Cape Vincent on the early morning of November 25, 2024.

   Linda was born in Leominister, MA  January 12, 1945, daughter of Edward "Teddy' and Mildred (Goodman) Brousseau. She was educated in Leominister schools and was married there to Ferris F. Gushlaw on June 30, 1962.

   She was employed as an assembler at Eppy Charms Plastics, Lancaster Furniture and Foster Grant, all in Leominister for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. She and her husband moved to the Clayton/Cape Vincent area (his home) in 2001.

   Linda was a former member of St. Cecilias Church in Leominister, enjoyed cross stiching, and time spent with her family and friends.

   She is survived by her husband, Ferris F. "Biff", a son Chuck F. and his wife Dale, Watertown; her 5 grandchildren, Sherry, Tony, Sara, Joseph, and Gage; her brothers, Ronald and Sandy Brousseau, Athol, MA, Dennis Brousseau, Florida; her sister, Shirley Hart, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents, a daughter Roxanne Gonynor, and a brother Randall Brousseau.

   As per her wishes, she will be cremated with no services, with burial at St. Lawrence Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are entrusted to Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton and online condolences to Linda's family may be posted at http://www.cummingsfuneral.com , with donations in her name made to Hospice of Jefferson County 1398 Gotham Street, Watertown, N.Y. 13601.
