Kathleen Ann (Gallagher) McKenzie

   Kathleen Ann McKenzie, 68, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 with family by her side in Watertown, New York.

   Kathleen was born in Rochester, New York on July 16, 1957 to John W. and Margaret (Lumm) Gallagher.  Kathleen eventually moved to Watertown, New York where she spent most of her adult life.  Kathleen was a free spirit with a heart big enough to hold everyone she cared about.  Her greatest joy was being surrounded by those she loved — sharing stories and laughter.

   Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Michael and Kevin Gallagher.  Kathleen is survived by her daughter Colleen A. (Bradley) Ferguson, Rochester; son Shane K. (Ashley) McKenzie, Buffalo; three grandchildren, Olivia, Isabelle, and Logan; brother Patrick Gallagher, Hamlin; and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen also leaves behind incredible friends Frank and Madonna who were always there for her.

   The family would like to thank the amazing nursing staff at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY who showed profound compassion towards her and her family.

   As per her wishes, her family will be holding a private service at a later date.
