Kathleen Lee Gee, 69, Watertown, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing, leaving behind a legacy rooted in devotion, creativity, and unwavering care for those she loved most.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Tom Gee; her children Shawna Cutuli (Brandon) and their children Giana, Caprice, and Anthony, Thomas Gee (Sarah) and their children Lillianne, Adeline, and Ella, and Jessica Reardon (Jason) and their children Amelia and Gavin. Her grandchildren were her most prized possessions, and she found her greatest joy in attending their games, performances, school events, and every milestone, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on and be present in their lives. She truly embraced her role as a full-time, proud and loving grandma.
She is also survived by her mother, Martha (Lynch) Ulmen; her sisters Patricia McCarthy, Brenda (Kris) Dimmick, and Mary (Al) Speno; her brother Bernard (Patti) Ulmen Jr.; and many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and generosity. Her father, Bernard Ulmen, died February 1, 2026.
A proud graduate of Watertown High School, Class of 1975, where she was a member of the volleyball team and baton team.
She spent her career caring for others, working as a nurse’s aide at Ryan’s Nursing Home, a chef at the House of Gee, and later as an assistant administrator at Caregivers, retiring in 2019. No matter the role, she led with compassion and heart.
An avid and championship bowler, Kathy was a member of the Watertown 600 and 700 Clubs. She was additionally inducted as a member into the 600 club Hall of Fame and the 700 club Hall of Fame. She was the only woman to bowl a perfect game at South Jeff Lanes. She served as a youth bowling coach, generously sharing her passion and encouraging others. She was also a talented crocheter who lovingly made items for family and friends and donated many handmade pieces to the hospital nursery, small comforts that made a lasting difference for many families.
She will be remembered for her kindness, selfless love, her generous spirit, and the way she continuously supported family. Kathy consistently and wholeheartedly cared for the people who mattered most to her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and legacy live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Calling hours will be held at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
