Julie S. Bender, 55, of Watertown and formerly of Clayton, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Calling hours will be held at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton on Wednesday, May 28, from 4 - 7PM. Burial in Clayton Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
Julie was born in Watertown on January 22, 1959, the daughter of Charles R. and Audrey Danough Bender and she grew up in Clayton. She married Rodney Fancher and the couple later divorced.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends, her cat, Miss Kitty, and she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed music, gallivanting around town, traveling and yard sales.
She is survived by her two daughters, Monica Morgado, Watertown and Traci Montondo, Dexter; her granddaughter, Reigna Monet; her mother, Audrey Bender, Watertown; three brothers, Robert C. Bender and wife, Kandy, Clayton, Dennis H. Bender and wife, Carol, LaPush, WA, and Ray P. Bender and companion, Anna Winch, Clayton; three sisters, Janet B. Ferguson and companion, John M. Schleher, Clayton, Holly J. Coburn and husband, Dee, Port Angeles, WA, and Rebecca J. Dodge and husband, Craig, Watertown; several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her companion, Ron Mushtare. Julie was predeceased by her father, Charles, and her twin sons, Aaron and Rodney Fancher, who died at birth, and her long-time companion, Charlie Brady, died in 1998.
