John "Jack" A. Freislich

   John A. "Jack" Freislich, 77, Cape Vincent passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.
   Jack was born in Ontario, Canada January 3, 1949, son of Kenneth A. and Eleanor (Alexander) Freislich. He graduated from Gates Chili High School and received his B. A. from SUNY Brockport.  He would later be inducted into the Hockey Wall of Honor in 2022.
   Jack was a financial advisor for a number of years.  On October 5, 1985 he married Michele L. Ennes in Rochester and they later moved to Watertown and formed The Freislich Group where they worked together for the next 30 years.
   Jack was a former member of the Thousand Islands School Board. He enjoyed reading, time on the River, boating, hunting, and especially spending time with his family and "puttering".
   Jack is survived by his two daughters, Kathryn M. (Robert A.) Ranalletta and Samantha A. (Andrew J.) Veith, all of Cape Vincent; four grandchildren, Gage and Quinn Veith and Eleanora and Weston Ranalletta. He leaves behind many dear friends including loving neighbors Donald (Kathy) Perkins and close friend Bruce Pultz.   Jack is pre-deceased by his wife Michele (2024).
    Calling hours will be held at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc, Clayton on Friday, March 27, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. There will be a graveside service held in Sand Bay Cemetery and a celebration of his life of which time is TBD. Online condolences to Jack's family may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com.
