Jeffrey J. Desormo

   Jeffrey J. Desormo, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home in the town of Watertown Saturday morning, April 13, 2024.

   Jeff was born in Watertown March 25, 1965, son of David L. and Linda A. (Adams) Desormo and he was a graduate of Watertown High School. On July 20, 1985 he married the love of his life of 39 years Dana L. Morgia at Asbury United Methodist Church. At a young age Jeff and Dana Had two beautiful children Tara and Andrew who he loved with all his heart.

   When he was a teenager, he worked for Cheney Tire and Firestone as a mechanic, also co-owned with his father-in-law  Westside Landscaping and Construction. He traveled the east coast hauling cars for various dealerships with Desormo Transport. In 2006 Jeff owned and operated Precision Towing and Auto Worx, whom he worked side by side with his son Andrew. They were always together. Andy and Jeff had a father son bond like no other. The family feels he passed from a broken heart.

   He loved his family going on numerous family vacations and making memories  he especially loved motorcycles, snowmobiling, all his muscle cars, including his green Challenger but his favorite was his hell cat, Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially boating and spending time with his family on the St. Lawrence River it was his happy place. He and Dana spent winters in Davenport, FL.  Were they loved to be in the warmth, But his wife, kids and grandchildren were his whole world.

   Along with his wife, Dana, Jeff is survived by his parents David and Linda Desormo, Watertown; daughter Tara L. Desormo Caskinette, Watertown; daughter-in-law Kelcie R. Robinson Desormo, Watertown; three grandchildren, Ashtyn L. Caskinette, Jayden C. and Farrah M. Desormo; brother David L. Desormo, Jr. and wife Tammy, VA; mother-in-law Patricia Rienbeck, Cape Vincent and FL; two brothers-in-law, F. Terry and Peter J. Morgia, both of Watertown; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, including Coty J. Morgia, and numerous cousins. Jeff was predeceased by his son Andrew J. Desormo, March 25, 2024; nephew Robby L. Morgia; father-in-law F. Terry Morgia, Sr.; and stepfather-in-law Thomas Rienbeck.
