Edward J. Finnerty

Edward J. Finnerty, 53, formerly of Watertown, passed away January 27, 2014 at his home in Portland, Oregon.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Watertown on Monday, February 3, at 10AM followed by burial in Glenwood Cemetery. There will be no calling hours and arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.

Edward was born at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada to Dr. James J. and Patricia M. Finnerty. He is a 1978 graduate of Immaculate Heart Central and also a graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

He worked in property management in Portland, Oregon.

In addition to his parents, of Cohoes, NY, Edward is survived by his four brothers: James P., Watertown, NY; Paul (Mary Beth), Clifton Park, NY; Anthony, North Greenbush, NY; and Emmet (Karen), Wynantskill, NY; two sisters: Mary, Charlestown, MA and Sheila (Lawrence) Emminger, North Greenbush, NY; his aunt, Mary Cullen, Brooklyn, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
