David N. Liscomb

   David N. Liscomb, 73, Watertown passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, his birthday, at Samaritan Keep Home.

   David was born in Gouverneur April 23, 1952, son of Neil and Betsy (Alberry) Liscomb. He was a 1970 graduate of Indian River High School. A marriage to Keitha Ward ended in her death. He then married Carol M. Lyman August 7, 2004 at Holy Family Church.

   He  was a cook at Samaritan Keep Home for 17 years and worked at Ames Department Store for 12 years. David enjoyed cooking, singing and music, reading, and was a collector of unicorns.

   Along with his wife, Carol, of Watertown he is survived by his stepson Timothy R. Lyman and wife Ada, Swanton, VT; brother Chris (Judy) Liscomb, Antwerp; sister Julie (Harry) Smithers, Gouverneur; and several nieces nephews, and cousins. David was predeceased by his parents; brother Wayne Liscomb; and sister Jan Liscomb.

   Calling hours will be held at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown on Monday, April 28, from 5 - 7 PM. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 29, at 11 AM at Holy Family Church followed by burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
