Bridget Streets Obituary

Bridget S. Streets, 65, Hugunin St., Clayton, passed away Friday evening, May 24, 2013, at Hospice of Jefferson County at the Ellis Farm.

Services will be at the convenience of the family, with no calling hours. Arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.

Mrs. Streets was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 24, 1948, daughter of Frank S. and Judith B. Frias Pavao, Jr. and she graduated from Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, HI. On August 17, 1968 she married Theodore G. "Ted" Streets in Wahiawa.

Bridget worked in the Dole Plantation Cannery in Hawaii. After moving to the north country, she was a postal clerk for the Watertown Post Office and retired after 32 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, and she was an avid bingo player and loved to read.

Besides her husband, Ted, she is survived by her two daughters, Christine R. Edwards and husband, Scott, Albion, NY and Carrie L Streets Gordon and husband, Dennis, Orange City, FL; six grandchildren; four siblings, Georgianna McAnany, HI, Sarahjane and Karla Hamilton, MN, Frank S. and Peggy Pavao III, HI, and Kathleen Bell, HI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
