Beatrice "Midge" M. (O'Connor) Travers

   Beatrice M. "Midge" Travers, 78, Watertown passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

   Midge was born in Watertown August 14, 1947, daughter of William J. “Bill” and Pauline M. "Polly" (Tibbles) O'Connor. She was a graduate of Watertown High School; and attended several schools for cosmetology to include advanced training in Toronto, Canada. On November 15, 1969, she married Robert G. Travers at Immaculate Conception Church, Brownville with Fr. James Ruddy officiating.

   She enjoyed being a self-employed beautician along with a homemaker. She liked gardening, holiday decorating, crafting, and scrapbooking.

   Along with her husband, Robert, she is survived by her three sons, Shawn M. (Sheri), Watertown, Daniel R. (Kristi), Henrietta, and Ryan P. (Amanda), Rush; eight grandchildren; brother, Robert J. O'Connor, Watertown; four sisters, Brenda J. O'Connor (Linda), Watertown, Janet M. Escudero (Mike), Watertown, Jean L. O'Connor, Lima, and Nancy A. Catalina (Don), Watertown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 5, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church. Burial in Brookside Cemetery will take place in the spring.
