Anne E. Windheuser, 78, Blackstone, MA, formerly of Watertown, passed away September 27, 2014 in Milford, MA.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, October 11, at 9AM with Rev. Jonas Tandayn, pastor, officiating and a private family burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Antwerp. There will be no calling hours and arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.
Anne was born in Natural Bridge on August 12, 1936, daughter of Edward and Veronica Martin Eggleston. She married Herbert Windheuser in 1959 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church and he died September 5, 2001.
She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and was a registered nurse until her retirement.
Ann is survived by her son and his wife, James and Mary Windheuser; three grandchildren, Kevin, Ashley, and Paul; and two brothers, Lee and Brad Eggleston. Besides her husband, Herbert, Anne was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Windheuser, who died in 1972.
