Agnes J. (Crescenzi) Zaremba

    Agnes J “Aggie” Zaremba, 89, Watertown, NY, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family following a short illness.

    Aggie was born on September 20,1936 in Watertown. She received her education at Boone Street School (Grades K-6); Saint Patrick’s School (Grades 7-9); and Immaculate Heart Academy, where she graduated high school in 1954.

   She married Arthur Zaremba on October 15,1955 at Saint Anthony’s Church. On October 15, 2025, she and Arthur renewed their vows on their 70th wedding anniversary.

   Aggie retired as Chief Clerk from Watertown City Court in 2007 after 25 plus years of service. Prior to that she and her husband Arthur owned and operated Giovanni’s Restaurant, as well as Dante's Restaurant in Watertown. 

   Aggie spent her life caring for the people around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and reading. 

   Aggie was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church in Watertown.

   She is survived by her husband, Arthur Zaremba of Watertown; her children Arthur Jr. (Patricia) Zaremba of Watertown; Deborah (Eldon) Perry of Watertown; and Stephen Zaremba of Syracuse. Aggie also had 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Sylvia Rositano, Watertown; Eileen (Wendell) Pierce, Watertown; Linda (Mike) Renzi, Sackets Harbor. She is predeceased by her parents Angelo and Mary Crescenzi, brother and sister- in-law Richard and Shirley Crescenzi and her brother-in-law John Rositano.

   Calling hours will be Saturday, November, 8th from 11am-1pm at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown with a funeral mass to follow at St. Anthony's Church at 2pm and burial at Glenwood Cemetery. Online condolences to her family may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com.
