Paul R. Sanford, 78, of Brownville, passed away December 31, 2020 at Upstate Medical Center.

Paul was born August 17, 1942, son of Elvyn M. and Iris McCarthy Sanford. He married Ella M. LaLonde December 16, 1972 at the Salvation Army Citadel with Capt. William Goodliff officiating. She died on February 23, 1994.

He was very fond of singing and playing Gospel music on his guitar. Over the past 25 years, Paul played at numerous tent meetings and blessed many by introducing some of the old time Gospel greats to the younger generation.

A private burial will be in Felts Mills Cemetery and there are no public services. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown and online condolences may be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com.
