Heather L. BeermanHeather L. Beerman, 44, of Clayton passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, March 20, 2020.

Heather was born in Watertown on March 13, 1976, daughter of David K. and Trina M. Carlisle Bogenschutz. She was a 1994 graduate of Thousand Islands Central School, attended LeMoyne College for two years, and then attended Jefferson Community College.

On August 8, 1998 she married Edwin C. Beerman, Jr. at St. Mary's Church, Clayton with Fr. Steven M. Murray officiating. Ed passed away on August 22, 2000.

Heather was a self employed Reiki Master, working from home in holistic medicine and was also an interior decorator. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed decorating, gardening, antiquing, boating, and watching her daughter Logan perform in concerts and musicals.

She will be greatly missed and is survived by her parents, David and Trina; daughter Logan E. Beerman; her brother Christopher D. Bogenschutz (Timothy J. Googin), all of Clayton; her husband’s parents Linda L. (Paul) Paventi, Syracuse; Edwin C. (Tammy) Beerman, Clayton; sister-in-law Tracie L. (Joe) Mason, Cape Vincent; three aunts, an uncle, and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Eleanor and Oliver Bogenschutz; maternal grandparents Raymond "Stub" and Corrine Carlisle; and two uncles.

A graveside service will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clayton at her family's convenience. Unfortunately due to the current health crisis, calling hours and funeral services can't be held. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton and online condolences may also be posted at www.cummingsfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather's memory may be made to Logan E. Beerman, c/o Watertown Savings Bank, 352 James St., Clayton, NY 13624, which will be used for her college fund.
