Your Mom has always been an Angel! She made all of us feel special on Stone St. My Mom loved having her as a friend. We were very fortunate to grow up next door to the Schmidt’s. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Dear Mary Ellen and family, I am thinking of you all and sending love and prayers. Your dear mom was always so sweet and kind when I knew her from our times in grade school, all the more remarkable because there always seemed to be dozens of kids around! She always seemed unflappable. I know my mom enjoyed their friendship at St.Pat's too. I know she and your dad are forever in your hearts.

Prayers for Viv’s family: Sorry to read of your mother passing. Have missed seeing her in St. Pats church. We would look for each other so we could sit together and chat before church started. I was her assistant in Girl Scouts. She donated much time for the kids at St. Patrick’s. Both she and Bill were good friends. We will miss both of them.

We were friends for years. When she lived on Stone st. We did a lot of donating time together at St. Patrick’s school on S. Massey st. I also assisted her in Girl Scouts. We would always look for each other when we would go to church just to say hi. A great lady ! I have n

My Deepest Condolences for your loss.
Your mother and father were both treasures of St. Patrick’s Church, and endeared themselves
to all they met. Your father gave me back my smile when I contracted Bells Palsy, many years back. I’ll be grateful for his talents forever. Your mother was always so graceful and supportive of his diaconate. God bless and keep them close to our hearts. They are together again. Bill asked me to sing at his ordination to the Diaconate, “Wherever you go, I will go”, in homage to Viv. I felt truly honored to oblige. God bless you all.

To John and all the Schmidt family, condolences and prayers. Reading of your Mom's passing brings back so many memories of growing up next door. Terrific family, I remember Mrs. Schmidt as so easy going, always a smile, seemed like nothing ever got to her. She was the anchor.
