Sheila J. Powell

Sheila J. Powell, 70, of Watertown passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Samaritan Medical Center.

Sheila was born in Watertown on February 4, 1948, daughter of Ernest and Fleta Decker Marino and she attended Academy St. School. On December 31, 1987 she married Louis O. Powell. She was a waitress for many years in various restaurants, including the Apollo Restaurant and the Best Western. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, painting, and especially her dogs.

Along with her husband, Louis, Sheila is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen Falcone and husband, Tom, Malvern, PA, and Tammy Clark Nasworthy and Kimberly Fleming, both of Watertown; two step children, Jeffrey Powell, Watertown and Michelle Bryant and husband, Robert, GA; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Marino and wife, Isabelle, Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Ronald and Robert Marino, and three sisters, Diane Mulcahy, Ruth Swartz, and Hertha Bell.

A graveside service will be held in Glenwood Cemetery on Saturday, March 10, at 2PM with Pastor Jeffrey Smith, of First Baptist Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours or funeral services and arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.
