Jeannine A. Young, 71, formerly of Clayton passed away in Coconut Creek, FL.
A funeral service at Clayton United Methodist Church will be at a time and date to be announced. There will be no calling hours and arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.
Jeannine was born in Alexandria Bay on September 18, 1946, daughter of Roy L. and Norine Spencer Carnegie. She was a graduate of Clayton Central School, Albany Business School, and attended Cal State in Fullerton. She married Ricardo Calzada on October 8, 1964 and the marriage ended in divorce. She then married C. Warner Young on August 9, 1981 at the Clayton United Methodist Church and he passed in 1996.
While Jeannine was in California, she did office and secretarial work and then moved to Florida. In 1981 she returned to Clayton, working as a waitress at the Town and Country Restaurant and retired from The Clipper Inn. She was a member of Clayton United Methodist Church, was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling and walking.
She is survived by her two children, Melinda L. Calzada and her companion, Gregory A. Bauer, Clayton and Kendrick A. "Rick" Calzada and his wife, Mary, Fernley, NV; two step children, David and Dawn; two grandchildren, Daniel Bauer and Kendrick Calzada; her younger twin sister, Dorine J. Rodgers and her husband, M. Donson, Port St. Lucie, FL; and one niece and three nephews.
