Anna Belle Graham Couch passed away at the age of 102 on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at home with her son, Arthur, and his wife, Jeri, in Indiana where she resided.
Anna Belle Graham was born on Grindstone Island, Clayton, New York on July 7, 1910. She was the youngest daughter of William and Alzina Slate Graham. Anna lived most of her life on Grindstone with a few years spent in Syracuse and Rochester, New York.
In 1934 she was married to Sperry W. Couch, of Rochester, and they had five children. Surviving are William and wife, Carolyn, of Norfolk, Virginia, Norma Frazier, Plessis, New York, Arthur and wife, Jerilyn, Pendleton, Indiana and Grindstone Island, Linda Williams and husband, John, of Warrenton, Oregon, and Alice Jolley and husband, James, of Fort Worth, Texas. She is also survived by several grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sperry, brothers, Claude and Frank Graham, and sisters, Belva Graham Lember, Beulah Raymond, and Bertha Arnold.
Burial will be in Grindstone Island Cemetery in the spring at a time and date to be determined. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Clayton.
