Geraldine S. LettiereGeraldine S. Lettiere, 82, Sackets Harbor and formerly of Watertown, passed away Saturday morning, December 10, 2016 at Samaritan Keep Home.

Calling hours will be at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown on Tuesday, December 13, from 4 - 7PM. A prayer service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 14, at 9:15AM followed by the funeral mass celebrated at St. Anthony's Church at 10AM with Msgr. Robert Aucoin, pastor, presiding. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Geraldine was born in Watertown on August 25, 1934, daughter of Jerry and Anna Fiorentino Spaziani, and she was a 1952 graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy. On August 13, 1955 she married Carl J. Lettiere at St. Anthony's Church with Rev. Dennis Lynch officiating.

She was a business customer service person for NY Telephone Co. With her husband, Carl, she owned the Village Inn, Black River and the Rainbow Motel, town of Pamelia. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and a member of its Altar & Rosary Society. Geraldine was a member of both the NY Telephone Pioneers and the Italian American Club Ladies Auxiliary. Her enjoyments included knitting, crocheting, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and gardening. She especially enjoyed hosting parties at her home, particularly around the holidays, and playing in the pool with her grandchildren.

Along with her loving husband of 61 years, Geraldine is survived by her son, Michael A. Lettiere, Sr., his wife, Kathleen B., of Watertown and their children, Michael Jr., Kristan, Bradley, and Lauren; her daughter, Carla L. Borum, her husband, Wylie, of Lagrangeville and their children, Wylie, Caroline, William, and Henry; four great grandchildren; her brother, Anthony Spaziani and wife, Jackie, Fairborn, OH; her sister, Patricia Spaziani, Watertown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her sister, Olympia Fiaschetti, died before her.
