Anna L. MurrockAnna L. Murrock, 89, of Watertown, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016.

Calling hours will be held Friday, October 28, from 4 - 7PM at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown. A prayer service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, October 29, at 9:15AM followed by the funeral mass at 10AM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Jonas Tandayu, pastor, presiding. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Anna was born in Watertown on August 1, 1927, daughter of Thomas and Sarah Daly Bergin. She was a 1945 graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy and then graduated from State Teacher's College, Potsdam.

On August 16, 1952 she married William R. Murrock at Holy Family Church with Fr. Albert J. Farrell officiating.

For several years, Anna was a school teacher in the Watertown City School District. For 27 years she and her husband owned and operated Motel 47 in Watertown. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church.

Along with her husband, William, Anna is survived by her six children, Gail and Thomas Saitta, Apalachin, Amy Murrock, Vestal, Scott and Therese Murrock, Fayetteville, GA, twins Mary and Peter Newins, Vestal and Todd and Kimberley Murrock, Watertown, and Jessie and John Sullivan, Binghamton; fourteen grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and John Bergin, and three sisters, Mary Ellen Vecchi, Kathleen Watts, and Nora Haley.
