Jeanne M. Davis

Jeanne M. Davis, 80, of Watertown and formerly of Philadelphia, NY, passed away Monday morning, June 20, 2016, at Samaritan Summit Village.

At her request, there will be no calling hours or service. Arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.

Jeanne was born in Adams Center on January 19, 1936, daughter of Harold and June Oatman Hockey and she attended Watertown High School. She had been a member of Philadelphia Civic League and a member and volunteer of Indian River Baptist Church. She enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels in the Philadelphia area. Jeanne was a true and loyal friend to all and in her role as mom and dad, no one could have done better.

She is survived by her six children, David O. and Mary Bice, Philadelphia, NY, Joseph T. Bice, Ithaca, Deborah S. and Franklyn Marshall, Antwerp, Jeffery A. and Dawn Bice, NC, Brayton C. Davis, Jr., MA, and Tina and Matt Leary, Calcium; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Her husband, Brayton C. Davis, Sr., predeceased her.
