Cameron E. ParoCameron E. Paro, 60, Breezy Knoll Trailer Park, Dexter passed away at his home on Sunday morning, February 14, 2016. As per his wishes there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.

Cameron was born in Watertown on June 26, 1955, son of Harold J. and Catherine E. (Roof) Paro and he attended local schools.

A marriage to Doris Paro Burdick ended in separation and she is now deceased.

Cameron worked construction all his life, was a hard worker and enjoyed going to work every day. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, gardening and traveling. He had a big heart and was loved by many, especially his family and his dog, Duke.

He is survived by his fiancée and long time companion, Susan Bowman, Dexter and her son, Joseph; his son, Travis Paro, Watertown; mother, Catherine Guyette Paro Vining, Lakeland, FL; four siblings, Merredith and Bruce Lehman, Watertown, Sherida and Bob Seymour, Mt. Sterling, OH, Denelia and James Parsons, Lakeland, FL, and Harold J. Paro, Jr., Watertown; several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Harold.

Donations in his name may be made to either Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St. or SPCA of Jefferson County, 25056 Water St., both in Watertown, NY 13601. Online condolences to Cameron's family may be made at www.cummingsfuneral.com

Prayer are with the family at this sad time. I hunted with Carmeron & Edmund at the Paro hunting camp for many years & always enjoyed Cameron company. He was a great person and a good hunter, sorry to hear of this passing.

My condolences to the family during this hard time. I did not know Cameron very well, but I found him to be a quiet, soft spoken man with a big heart and kind words to those close to him. May you rest in peace !

Rest in peace cam, over the years you taught me so much, you were my stepdad for 34 years we went through a lot together and apart. I will always love and respect you for all you taught me and my boys, all the help you gave us. Rest in peace now dad!!!!!! You will always be in my heart!
