My great cousin Betty Streets was one of my favorite relatives. She was always so kind and thought only of others. Even though, I haven't seen Betty in years, I will miss knowing she was here on earth. She definitely is an angel in Heaven now and, I know everyone who loved her is comforted by knowing that. I'll always love you, Betty. God Bless you and Keep You.

Condolences to the Streets family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says Jehovah God, "heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds." May God bring you comfort and peace.

My relationship with Betty began as a business relationship that quickly turned into a treasured personal friendship. Her love of life and positive energy was contagious. She was truly a "treasure" and will be greatly missed, but remain in all of our hearts.

I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing but what a legacy she has left behind. I was privileged to teach with Betty. At that time the first grade classes were bussed out of the village. I was a brand new teacher but what a wonderful mentor I had with Betty who really made me a teacher. My only daughter was named after her because of the impact she had on my life. She had no children of her own but then she had hundreds. She lived a full life and her generosity knew no bounds. I am proud to have known her!!!!

Aunt Betty, thank you for being one of the kindest and dearest people in my life. I have so many fond memories visiting Mary Street, from when I was a child to visiting with children of my own. You will be missed but I take comfort in knowing you are watching over us. Rest well.

I taught with Betty during the 1953-54 school year and I loved her to bits from then on, and looked forward to meeting her at the T.I. antique show every year. She was an outstanding teacher and friend. Mary Alice Burke Robinson
