Ashley, I will never forget the last time we met and had a chance to visit. Beverly & I ran into you and your mother in Walmart. You came over to Beverly & I and gave us both a big hug. While you were hugging me you never said a word but just held on tight. After that hug, you looked at me and tears were streaming down your face. When I asked you what was the matter, you told me how good it felt to be able to smell fragrances again and how wonderful it was to be able to go outdoors and smell things growing, the smell of the flowers and being able to look up and see a blue sky. It didn’t take me long to realize your tears were tears of joy and I was so happy for you and told you how proud I was of you. This is the Ashley I will always remember.

To your mother and father (whom I know real well), your children and to all of the members of your family, we extend our deepest sympathy. God speed Ashley.

Uncle Michael & Aunt Beverly
